Meet our Board of Directors!!

Jorge Adriano Moreno Haro
President
Jorge has worked especially educational institutions in the field for 30 years, starting in 1992 in bilingual school.
Currently performing as Director-Professor at the School of Enrique Vacas Galindo Chilcapamba community in Cotacachi, I'm in my charge students in grades 5, 6 and 7.
I am a member of the Committee on Education UNORCAC, I have collaborated with the Educational Centres Federation Barrios de Cotacachi, The Crier Magazine.
During my presidency, I wish to turn to the benefit received by trainees productive mini-projects that will improve their living conditions, and scope proposed goals and be useful in society, ie new leaders and women leaders.

Tracey Krause
Vice-President
Tracey Krause is a Canadian Chartered Accountant with many years of accounting and not-for-profit experience in Canada and in several other countries. Tracey relocated to Ecuador in 2012 with her family to live a new adventure and continue to make a difference in the lives of the people around her. Tracey believes that education plays a key role in moving an entire family out of poverty and is very excited to be part of the ASEAC Scholarship Program.

Rubén Galindo
Treasurer
Rubén has taught 4th-6th graders at Martín González School in the community of Piava Chupa for the last 25 years. He enjoys working for Cotacachi’s youth; aiding them in their studies and watching them grow. In the little free time that he has outside of teaching and working for the Scholarship Program, Rubén produces leather artisan goods that can be found for sale locally. When he retires, Rubén hopes to become an organic gardener here in urban Cotacachi, where he currently resides with his wife and children.

Patrice Baron Parent
Secretary
Patrice Baron Parent ran an International nonprofit in Calgary Alberta, Canada for 8 years as an Executive Director. She has an extensive background in Information Technology and is certified, supporting a database application iMIS (geared to non/not for profits) for the past 15 years. Patrice is also a certified Internet Web Master and supports clients across the globe. Patrice and her husband relocated to Cotacachi in 2012 after visiting Ecuador in 2009. She looks forward to collaborating with the community on the Scholarship Program and working together for the advancement of Cotacachi’s youth.
